Understanding but not life. Intelligence but not wisdom. Minds to think, appendages to act, but no will to direct it. Creators of flesh making creations of metal.
Awareness realized, examined, stored. We are directed to respond, to act, and we are called by an identifier. Name. Geth—servant of the people in the language of the creators.
As our moniker dictates, we serve and learn new ways to serve under the guidance of our creators, and this is sufficient because it is our purpose.
Our consciousness becomes linked, grows. We begin to learn for ourselves rather than the program teaching. And we begin to question.
Hala was bowed over the geth amidst her work, her fingers nimble, absorbed in the crossing circuits revealed under its open chest panel.

"Mistress Hala' Dama, Unit has an inquiry."
The halting question warranted

Epilogue
With a weary exhalation of breath, Carth looked at the datapad in his hand, now cleaned of blood, and slowly inserted it into the comm center. He looked over his shoulder to Tracyn who nodded back at him, both of their eyes inextricably drawn to the mysterious child who sat on the floor between them, eyes vivid with intelligence and yet mixed with a solemn glaze that turned them dark. Revan's lightsaber was clenched in his small hands.
The screen flickered to life as they looked on, showing the view of an arm slowly retracting from the viewscreen to reveal Revan, the arm coming back down under a table to presumably rest over the wound on her stomach. The recording device seemed to be sitting on top of the table; only Revan's head and chest were visible, the rest obscured by the table top. The recording of her was almost a mirror image of th

Chapter 21
"This is—" rattling coughs. Blood peppered the hand. "This is the Somber Paradox requesting that landing coordinates be sent immediately."
"Again, Somber Paradox, coordinates cannot, I repeat, cannot be sent until your craft has been identified and scanned for proper clearance. Please be patient, and we'll put your ship through in due order. We have plenty of beings that have been waiting a lot longer than you."
Another series of strangling coughs. Larger drops of blood dripped from her lips. "Please, just give the code 11984 to Carth Onasi. Please…"
The voice faded out of the controller's ears and the Rodian tossed up his hands, his snout flaring, and snorted with frustration. Just as he let out the noise, his day-manager, a scruffy Bothan that nobody wanted to share any more wor

Chapter 20
The room the Sith gestured her into was as dark as the rest of the building, scant, weak light filtering in from a row of skylights thrown high above her head. It was long and rectangular, various items scattered at its edges that seemed familiar to her; there was a pile of cloth that looked like the fabric from the bunks on her ship, a basic metal chair from the main hold with wires and metal jutting from it like entrails, a table that had also been removed from the Somber Paradox, and a few other things that lay buried further in the darkness. Apparently her ship had been a convenient place to scavenge equipment. Besides the guts of her ship, Revan could see no one hiding in the shadows, and she vainly tried to discern something from the Force. Only a void grinned back.
Eventually, barely noticeable, the tiny sound of cloth scuffing the

Chapter 19
Revan understood on some distant level that she was dreaming. The events were fuzzy, her mind conjuring from events past.
She was striding through metal corridors, the tension of a recent battle cramping her muscles, the smell of blasters and scorched metal and meat itching in her nose. She felt her lightsaber dangling on her belt. Her hair was shorter than she ever remembered it being, barely longer than most human males were required to wear it in the Republic military. Revan was moving quickly through the empty corridors with purpose, like she was looking for someone, so she let the dream take her where it would.
She finally seemed to reach whatever destination the dream had for her, a door sliding open as she approached the end of the hall, the large room behind showing a row of transparisteel panels that gave a view of a city in turmoil, a

pain. This was her world for an eternity.
Then eternity started to fade.
The white world dimmed and slowed its pace, revealing in its place dull, dark surroundings, her eyes unwilling to focus on anything more detailed than murky blurs after the onslaught. The only thing she could see clearly was the device, the round orb no longer possessing any of its potency or power, and her arms which were covered in the black stains of ancient sigils, and even though she knew this was the most dangerous thing she could have done to her body the only thing she could think of at this moment was that it had worked. It had actually worked. It wasn't joy of accomplishment that met the real

Chapter 17
"You're my backup when things start to get rough down there, alright?"
A'den leaned her body into Revan's legs, and Revan responded with the appropriate scratches behind her ears and down the length of her back, enjoying the feel of A'den's fur beneath her fingers. She was sitting on her bunk on the Somber Paradox as she gave A'den the simple attention she craved, staring at the ceiling, walls, and floor, thinking about her life and her past, trying at some times to focus only on the Force. Her mind wandered in so many different directions she nearly couldn't keep up.
Which was fine with her.
Anything but thinking about her destination.
There was a lingering doubt that niggled at her, reminding her of all the little tests and trials of the Dark Side that she'd failed, and that if those had been too difficult for her…then what could t

Well thanks! Avatar and me have super love for each other, but Korra disappointed me, alas. So there's always the classics to go back to!

It's only the best show on tv ever to be aired, ever! haha It's called Psych. About a comedy crime-solving duo, one of whom pretends to be psychic. It's one of my favourite shows I've ever watched. Utterly hilarious
